First edition, Octavo, Hardcover, boards & cloth in dust jacket. A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket. A lawyer is cursed by a gypsy to lose weight. The first hardcover book by Stephen King under the Bachman pseudonym, after four paperback originals, and the last book he published under that name before it became known that Bachman was actually King. Basis for the 1996 film of the same name, starring Robert John Burke and Joe Mantegna. SIGNED and inscribed by the author as Stephen King in 1986: "For Keith - and Holly - Best, Stephen King 7/11/86." A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket with a short edge tear at the upper rear spine fold and no other defects. Extremely scarce copy signed as "Stephen King.".
