HC 132/1000' Description THE HISTORY OF EGYPT - CHALDEA, SYRIA, BABYLONIA, AND ASSYRIA - 12 Volumes green Leather quarto with morocan boards and endpages and containing over 1200 color plates and ilustrations.  Overall they are in Very Good to Near Fine condition and will be described one-by-one.  All of these volumes are tight and have very light toning to pages from age, no writing or marks.  These are NOT ex-library. With 1 thru 9 by G. Maspero and 10 thru 12 by S. Rappoport - Volume I - Overall in Near Fine condition with the paper between the second and third cover pages split (threads holding.) Very light rubbing to top front edge of spine.  Volume II - Near Fine condition with super light rubbing to top edge of spine and top rear tip.  Volume III - Near Fine like V.II with very light rubbing to bottom edge of spine as well. Volume IV - Very Good with front board having a light bump and leather quarto tips lightly faded as in photograph.  There is also some light foxing to first three cover pages, No effect to inside pages. Volume V - Near Fine with some fading to quarto tips as in photograph. Volume VI - Near Fine condition and same as Volume V. Volume VII - Near Fine condition as Volume VI. Volume VIII - Near Fine condition and same as Volume VII. Volume VIII - Near Fine condition and no fading to boards, but has a light indentation to backside board. Volume IX - Near Fine condition or better with a little rub to bottom of spine edge. Volume X - Near Fine+ condition. Volume XI - Near Fine condition with a tiny rub to top front edge of spine.
