The Dragonfly motif is a favorite theme for both art nouveau and arts and crafts. The pure copper bookmarks are hand finished one at a time and, as such, may vary slightly in color. They are then sealed with lacquer.  The wings are drawn from life using a Green Darner dragonfly. The Green Darner is native to the U.S. and is one of the largest and fastest flying dragonflies.
