I have a 100% customer satisfaction record on ebay and plan on keeping it that way. Believe it or not... the articles are really entertaining.  l)  Volume 1, number 1. December, 1953. MARILYN MONROE  cover; First appearance by Mr. Playboy, Rabbit Bachelor. The cover has a piece of tape on bottom right hand corner.  There is a bit of paper pulled up on the dress. The edges are worn with small tears. The centerfold on page 19 looks like it was torn and their is clear tape holding it together. That is the only damage to page 19. Page 41 has a small piece missing from the mid right side. On the reverse side (page 42) there is masking tape into 2 places. There is  an area on the left side where part of the photo has worn off. There is also an area on the bottom where some of the paper is worn down. The back of the magazine has a piece of masking tape going across the middle of the magazine, 1 small pieces of tape on the top, 1 piece on the upper left, and 1 piece on the lower left.  I know this is disappointing but it is 55 years old and made out of paper.  PLEASE KEEP READING! 2) Volume 2, number 3. February, 1955.   PLAYMATE: Jayne Mansfield COVER: Arlene Kieta & Leigh Lewin.  The binding on front cover is loose at each end. The cover is turned up on the bottom binding end. The staple on the bottom has become loose on page 22 but the top staple is still attached. The centerfold is not attached but it is present.  In the centerfold crease there is a small tear on the right and larger tear on left.  These do not tear into picture of playmate.  The edges of pictures are worn. 3) Volume 2, number 5. May, 1955   PLAYMATE: Margueritte Empty COVER: A black stage coach.  The cover is intact. Page 11 is loose. slight tattered edges.  Centerfold is loose. Small whole where the staple was on the centerfold. Otherwise this magazine is in pretty good shape. 4) Volume 2, number 6. June, 1955   PLAYMATE: Eve Meyer COVER: Donna Klime. Small writing on top right. Binding slightly loose on bottom and small area turned up. Small corner of right bottom missing. Page 25 is loose. Page 27-28-29-30 centerfold missing.  5) Volume 2, number 7. July, 1955   PLAYMATE: Janet Pilgrim,  COVER: Janet Pilgrim. This magazine is in pretty good shape. The centerfold has slight wear in crease. 6) Volume 2, number 8. August, 1955.   PLAYMATE: Pat Lawler COVER: Joanne Arnold. A letter e is written on top right hand corner. Slight wear in binding. Other than that cover looks good! The centerfold bottom staple is missing. Page 57 is torn and missing most of the page. 10) Volume 2, number 12. December, 1955.  PLAYMATE: Janet Pilgrim COVER: Janet Pilgrim. Slight fraying at top and bottom 1/4". The centerfold is attached by both staples. There is slight rust on the staple. Slight wear in crease from folding.  11) Volume 3, number 1. February, 1956.  Playmate: Marguerite Empey. The cover has some white wear spots near the binding and white crease marks top right corner. Page 3 has 1" tear from page turner. Small piece of top right corner missing page 8. There is a crease in all the pages on top right that is barely noticeable as you flip through the magazine the crease stops on page 18. Slight water mark top of page 32.  Centerfold looks pretty good. Page 63 is loose at top staple. Slight watermark outside edge of page 67. 13) Volume 3, number 3. March, 1956.  Playmate: Marian Stafford. Frayed edges of binding above and below top and bottom staple of cover. Some slight watermarks on outer edges.  Very slight.  The centerfold is unique as there are 3 sections to it.  Very slight wear in the crease. I hope this helps.  I am more than willing to answer any more questions you have and send photos.
