Published in 1905 and presenting a breadth of literary and philosophical works from prestigious authors, these delightful and charming little books would add gravitas to any book shelf and superior wit and wisdom to any diligent reader. Although some appear to have some damage to the spines they are in surprisingly good condition and are still very presentable considering they are 103 years old! To have twelve together in the same collection is a rare thing indeed. A reasonable individual price is around £8-£20 although I have seen them on amazon in better condition going for up to £30. All have beautiful printings of portraits of their respective authors (see photos) and original silk bookmarks.
